Diets didn’t work. Oh, I might let go of a few pounds, but once I realized that I’d “lost” weight, some aspect of my subconscious would begin to sabotage my diet, and I’d find myself making excuses and getting right back into old habits.

Eating is not bad as long as you consume only the right amount of food and energy needed to complete everyday tasks. It may seem somewhat overwhelming to think of shopping for the right kinds of vegetables and fruits that would be great in juice, but I will include a beginner juicing list with simple combinations at the end of this article. It is just important to remember that by taking this first step forward, you are making the first step toward truly getting healthy. The first step is to invest in a new juicer. Chose a juicer that best fits how you imagine yourself juicing, will it be a combination of vegetable and fruit juice, mainly vegetable or primarily fruit? I would suggest making it a combination or primarily vegetable, as natural fruit juice is loaded with sugar, albeit natural sugar, it is still sugar and processed in your body as such. This means it is harder to lose weight if you are taking in a large amount of sugars.
The best drink you can have at this time is water. Water in itself is a medicine which helps you flush out unwanted body fluids. It also aids metabolism. This is so because water reduces the viscosity of the blood and thus speeds up metabolic reaction which in turn helps break down fat fast. It is also important that you avoid caloric beverages and cool drinks; they only add to the already present weight
